Victory

From Petition Organizer: Thank you to everyone who has helped us towards victory. To our knowledge, it seems that the site has taken down all of our art before they were even sent a paragraph and this petition. I will keep checking back to make sure that this peace continues.

Because every artist, on dA or elsewhere, works hard on their art and would be crushed if their art was copied without their consent. Most of this art is taken from the "unknown" artists who "wouldn't be missed" if their art career was ruined by this.

    2. Getting it together

Again, I thank all of you for showing your support, but really, 500 sigs? How about 2,000? I'm writing the paragraph, but I'll wait until we get to at least 2,000 signatures, because there's no doubt they won't at least read all of this.

    4. Importance- Joelle Lino-Wiseman

Here's some people who are speaking up and explaining the importance of this petition:

"Some of my art has ended up on here, that is either pay-to use colourable, or not meant for colouring at all. I also saw my friend's art, a COLOURED piece, show up upon searching her username. Isn't this supposed to be a colouring site? Isn't taking our line-art and sketches enough, what kind of reasoning is behind taking already coloured pieces.

This is theft at a very high degree, whether the site owners realize it or not. it may credit us, there are plenty of pieces that clearly state "DO NOT USE" or some other variant. Despite that, they are still appearing because of the way they have set up the site to operate. Please, imagixs.com, if you really want to make a friendly site where people can find colouring pages, ASK us artists, find people who want to DONATE usable artworks MEANT for that; don't just search the entire internet for pieces that you have no permission to use."

    5. Thanks for your Support!

Once we reach 500 signatures, I'll write a paragraph to send with it to show them just how we all feel about this! Keep showing your support by spreading the word!

I just looked back at it and checked yet I was easily able to upload the site and look at 'colour-able lineart'

My daughter has always put alot of effort and thought into her artwork because she truly loves doing it. She cares and it shows. At only thirteen years old she's made me immensely proud of her & her art.

She's very upset (to say the least) that they've taken some of her art. I myself, am very angry and highly disgusted at this so-called 'site' (which appears to be someones hobby or web-design project, they seem to think is doing no harm!)

What they have done is BLATANT COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT!

They need to be told to take down the pieces spotted, or close the 'site' down. They need to realise they should have much more respect for others effort & art.
