I was not able to make it to the trial I was taking care of my newborn (Torey's cousin). But those who did attend spoke and the judge listened and the judge even read everyone's letter that couldn't make it. This man was plead guilty for first degree murder for 35 years and credited for time spent which was 1 year and some days. They said he was cold in the court room never spoke a word or made eye contact. In April he admitted to murdering my nephew Torey.
Because of the strength my bf (Roland, Torey's uncle) we have all forgiven this man not for him but for our Torey. We no longer want to think of this man nor do we want to remember Torey as a family member who was murdered. We want to remember the good times he gave us and the inspiration he put into all of our lives.
Thank you everyone for all the help and support you gave my family and I. You gave us strength!
Sincerely Torey's Aunt Kelso.
