Governor Chris Christie

The adopted height requirements will force many families out of their homes. It will place undue financial burdens on already strapped families trying to repair or rebuild with limited resources. There is no infrastructure in place yet for homeowners to meet these requirements.

To:
Governor Chris Christie
Reverse the decision to adopt the current FEMA map height requirements

Sincerely,

Having lived on the river for over 30 years and never flooded ,until Sandy ,which was still minor compared to others ./and it wasn't the river that flooded me it was water from the streets and sewers .

It directly affects me. I am in a former "A" zone, now a "V" zone. My dream home may become my "nightmare"!

These maps are so screwed up . my home has 3 different addresses when I click on the "new" maps .My next door neighbor is in an a zone ,I`m in v zone .my property is a ft higher but it is 2 ft lower on the map. A and v zones together on the same streets and lagoons .These maps look so inaccurate and we are supposed to spend our money to raise our houses even when we had no damage! Gov Christie does not want to address the problem the f.f.
