Gary Garcia: Keep him in the United States to stay with his American Family.

My husband Gary has been in the United States for over 12 years. He was brought here as a child and this is his home, where he's a loving father and husband. We have been married for 3 years and have two children (both US citizens) and another baby on the way. But we live in constant fear because Gary is facing deportation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Gary's ordeal has been long and painful -- he has had 3 different lawyers over the past 6 years while fighting to stay in the country. He has been in two different immigrant detention centers -- at one he was behind bars for over 4 months! In the last court appearance, the prosecution criminalized him for simply surviving, for working, for getting a drivers license. He has been told he is a criminal simply for doing the basic things he has to do to provide for our little family.

Now, after years of carefully filing the correct paperwork, after thousands of dollars in application fees and filing fees, Gary is still fighting to stay in the country with me and our boys.

His last hope is the deferred action for childhood arrivals. We have a new lawyer and his application is pending. All we are asking is that Gary -- who is a low priority for DHS and ICE -- be removed from deportation proceedings so we can raise our family while he adjusts his status.

Please sign to ask ICE to cancel the deportation of Gary Garcia.

Since Gary Garcia has filled out paperwork to become a legal U.S. citizen, why shouldn't he stay, work and raise a family in this country? This country was founded on immigration, and needs more hard working, honest, decent people like Gary Garcia and his family.

They are married and it is her right as an American citizen to marry whom she chooses, and her husband should not be sent away, breaking up another home. Those children need their father.

If this man was brought here as a child - that was well beyond his control. He has started a beautiful family and I say let the man stay!
