Jokaya N.V. is planning to develop the area around Karels pier. The location is known as' Charles's Pier & is located at Kaya JNE Craane 10-12.

Despite concerns from residents, visitors & environmentalists regarding pollution & harm to the marine life, they are still striving to develop this area.
Independant research has shown that the marine life WILL be affected & the wash off from the proposed businesses could harm the coral reef.

A Spacial Plan (ROB) was put in place to ensure that such developments would never happen, however, due to pressure put on the Government by Jokaya N.V. the Spacial Plan has been 'ammended' to allow their plans to progress.

If you want to stop faceless investors from destroying the beautiful island of Bonaire & to keep it unique, please sign this petition.

We are only caretakers of this planet for future generations, please don't let those whose only interest is money, take away your childrens, and your childrens childrens inheritance.

Thank you.............

I've been traveling to Bonaire for 28 years. It is a concern that the environmental protections are being altered to allow for construction like this.

I made 100 open water dives in Bonaire. It is a unique underwater environment that should be protected as originally envisioned

Bonaire holds a special place as a shining example of developing the economy without ruining the reason tourists visit over and over again - my husband and I have visited 14 times - we don't come to see another bar or restaurant or dive school - we come for the beautiful, protected reef. Please don't do anything to jeopardize what the entire tourist industry on Bonaire depends on.
