A Genesee County family has raised Lilly, the deer for the past 5 years. She was found on the side of the road after the death of her mother and sibling. The family rescued her knowing she would die without immediate attention. Now the DNR is threatening to take the deer away.

They acted in compassion and love, giving the deer a chance at life when circumstances would not. Lilly has become part of their family and their lives.

Please help this family keep Lilly, their pet deer!

Thank You.

I was thinking about moving to Michigan. Please be a place I want to bring my son to. That deer isn't bothering anyone. Doesn't Michigan have bigger problems. Maybe Michigan has no crime.

This deer is no longer a wild animal. She is a greatly-loved member of a family.
