I have started this petition to hopefully open the eyes of Disney corporate offices of the injustice they are doing to the Star Wars fans across the globe. I am sure you have heard of the recent transaction of LucasFilms to Disney for $4.05 billion, and that they plan to release Star Wars Episode VII in 2015 for younger generations. If you agree that this is preposterous, I encourage you to join my efforts in letting Disney know of what they are about to do. Thank you all for your time and interest.

I have been a Star Wars fan my whole life, and I'd rather not have a repeat of the New Trilogy. The VII, VIII, and IV movies could be amazing, considering what the Expanded Universe has to offer, let's keep it as IV, V, VI are, by way of maturity of content. Thank you.

The Star Wars movies should not be made for kids in the reasons that it wasn't made for them to begin with. Sure there is the "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" but why not just make them a movie based off that?
