I do not know any of the people involved BUT I have a very close friend that is going through similar situations his Daughter lives in GA. and He can not speak to her or see her... The mother doesnt even take care of the little girl... Its sad that soo many mothers hold their children against the other parent for whatever reason.. It only hurts them.. I have 3 boys and their father and his family are welcome to my children any time :)... Best of Luck!!

have you tried going to a different county? i know first hand letcher county do not put the child's best interest at heart. we need people that work for the court and social services that has heart and compassion for children and parents that really love their kids and worry about children who are really being abused and really need help. you seem like a dad who really love your son. i hope you and your son will be reunited soon and i will keep you in my prayers.

I am a divorced parent of 2 children upon my divorce I didn't press child support as I knew that it would only hurt the children in the end, he supported nut I feel if I pressed it the if they really wanted or needed to get money from him they would be denied. We both agreed to disagree about our difference and exclude the children from the adult matter and work together for the best interest of our 2 sons. I had primary custody and he had secondary. The day of court I was the only one that went b4 the judge for the divorce, because he and I had already agreed to the terms and conditions mentioned above and he waived his right to be at the proceeding. Remember that the child or children had no choice if he or she was to be born into this world and to whom their parents would be. So in the end if the parent is meeting his/her obligation set forth in the court system and provides support for child then the other parent should have to meet their obligations of the court order. If the parent that is required to pay support doesn't pay then the court files charges them with failure to provide for the child. The other parent is not required to provide monetary support she is required to support the emotional stability of that child because it is her responsibility to prevent child abuse. So in my opinion this mother is no better than a non support paying parent and that get them jail time. SHE NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR HER WRONG DOINGS TO HER SON'S WELL-BEING AND AN ASPECT OF THE SON'S WELL-BEING WOULD BE TO HAVE THE EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENT AND SUPPORT OF HIS FATHER THAT IS SO WILLING TO GIVE AND BE A PART OF HIS SON'S LIFE!!! In the eyes of contracts and laws the mother is breaching the contract and breaking the law and committing the acts of child abuse. She is being neglectful of her son's mental and emotional state of being which is serverely damaging to the child!!! Please make the mother meet her cort ordered and legal obligation to promote her son's well-being. Issue her a bench warrant and arrest her and give his father primary custody and make her work and prove that she should get her right back. Stop punishing the victim (CHILD, SON) and hold his mother accountable just as you would the father if he failed to meet his court orders. EQUAL RIGHTS TO ALL PARTIES INVOLVED!!! So in a sense the system is failing the child also!!! Thanks for the opportunity to state my opinion and legal knowledge on behalf of the loving and adorable child and especially his rights and well-being!!! May GOD bless his children!!!
