A PETA undercover investigation of Adirondack Farms, LLC, a dairy farm that supplies milk to Agri-Mark, Inc., found that workers routinely jabbed and struck cows with a pole and a cane on the face, udder, and hindquarters when leading them into a room to be milked. A farm manager was even caught on video repeatedly electro-shocking a cow in the face. He was also recorded jabbing a conscious downed cow, whom he called a "dumb bitch," in the ribs with a screwdriver and using a skid loader to drag her approximately 25 feet. Calves bellowed and thrashed as smoke rose from their flesh after their horn buds and surrounding tissue were burned off without any pain relief.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of cruelty that we need your help to stop. Join PETA in asking Agri-Mark to require all its member farms to adopt animal welfare guidelines. These reasonable guidelines include prohibiting the dehorning and tail-docking of calves and replacing electric prods with humane driving tools.
