Children are the future of this country. They are abused, sexually and mentally every single day all over the world. They were being violated day after day and deprived of their childhood. These children are our future. Luckily, the United Nations started this treaty with 52 articles, protecting children's rights in November of 1989. William "Bill" Clinton had already signed this treaty and all we needed was to ratify it. It's been about 19 years since then and nothing has happened. We understand with the economy and all we must focus on these problems but we have to be the change we want to see. So sign this petition and urge congress to ratify the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. It will reduce the abuse and many problems including dropping out of High School. Sign this petition for the future of America.
