From Sarah's perspective-sounds like many conversations still need to happen around people being hungry, and hungry for nourishing food, on land they may not have, and needing to ask permission and to go through proper channels to have this accomplished. As a self-appointed mediator/facilitator here, I would recommend all occupiers show up at the table with the issues presented as to why a garden was planted without permission-"People need food now, community gardens have wait lists, and there aren't enough of them", and work with 'authorities', as after all, they are our public servants, and that mentality needs to re-instated. If again, they don't listen, just keep planting gardens and gathering people in solidarity to reclaim the land and our right to feed ourselves from it.
