      Elsberry, MO

This is important because I have a two month old pit bull puppy and am being harassed by the cops for not having a muzzle on him when he is chained up in my yard. There are many people in the town of Elsberry who have pits and don't feel its right for them to have to be muzzled all the time to wear they cant protect them selves against other dogs or any other animal. The city of Elsberry is discriminating against pits and say that they are all vicious which they are not and then turn around and let some people get away with not having a muzzle on there pit and want to drive by my house everyday just to make sure mines not outside without a muzzle on.

To:
city of elsberry
change the muzzle law against pit bulls

Sincerely,
[Your name]

If pits (which I have one) Have to be muzzled then all dogs should be. This is not right

I agree with Britany Quick on this. Not all pit bulls are agressive. There have been other breeds of dogs that are not considered agressive but yet they want to attact you for no reason. If you want to muzzle a breed of dog why not all or none! A 2 month old puppy muzzled - for real Elsberry?! How about being more concerned about the dirty water we have to pay for and drink, the streets and sidewalks (which most of the time you have to walk on the streets because the sidewalks are so bad you can fall from the way they are) or the meth town that Elsberry is turning into? I love my town but priorties need to be put in place.

You shouldn't be worried about the pits, you should be worried about the idiot owners who make them mean. There are good people who own them and bad people who own them. Pits aren't born mean they're made that way. The owners should be punished not the breed.

BEING THE OWNER OF TWO AWESOME PITBULLS , I FEEL IT IS INPORTANT TO STAND FOR THEIR RIGHTS , THERE IS NO REASON TO PUNISH EVERY PIT , IF YOUR DOG IS MEAN BY ALL MEANS YOU HAVE TO DO WHATS RIGHT , AND MUZZLE IF IT IS NOT THEN NO MUZZLE .

How would you like to get muzzled when you go out side?
