The area around the Bee's Ferry landfill in lower West Ashley has exploded in recent years with residential development. Just one mile away, there is Carolina Bay, the third largest growing neighborhood in the tri-county area. The other two are in Goose Creek, which makes Carolina Bay the largest growing neighborhood in Charleston county. Combined with Hunt Club, Bolton's Landing and Grand Oaks-all of which feed onto Bee's Ferry road, you have four large residential communities located near an area that would then be heavy industrial use if this is allowed to go through. We strongly feel this would be detrimental to our community and not in keeping with the intended residential development and beautification projects of lower West Ashley.

Vote no on the proposed Kuznik property purchase to create the MRF.

Sincerely,

I believe irresponsible development will impact the quality of life of local residents.

As a resident of West Ashley, for most of my life, I've noticed an increase in traffic, trash and trouble since development began on Bees Ferry Rd. There is total disregard for historical Hwy 61!

We are cutting down too many trees. They provide oxygen and clean the air. Can't we save some trees so we can continue to breath.
