We have to act now ! The construction of the zoo is not expected to begin for three to four years .
The zoo will feature mud flats, also known as tidal flats, are coastal wetlands, aquariums , beaches , with its own oceanside entrance in Moriura Bay closed off by a 430-metre net. "
*** Taiji's mayor, Kazutaka Sangen says the construction of the zoo would not coincide with *** an end to the Dolphin Hunt.
The Cove exposes the bloody reality of Taiji's dolphin hunt :

"We will continue hunting dolphins and establish Taiji as a town of whales, however much criticism we get from abroad," he told the Asahi Shimbun newspaper.
TAIJI fishermen /hunters / confuse the poor Dolphins by banging metal poles on the side of their boats and then herd them into the cove before massacring them with knives , spears and harpoons.
An endless butchery during months !
The young dolphins are sharply captured while their mothers are slaughtered!
*** Pls send your message to stop the construction of this zoo in Taiji , where tourists will now be able to swim and play with the DOLPHINS near where the cull takes place.
Thank you

""The Japanese town made infamous by the Oscar-winning documentary "The Cove" will open a marine park where visitors can swim with whales and dolphins and also sample the animals as a snack.

Government official Masaki Wada said the town of Taiji has begun researching a plan to create a park where people can swim and kayak alongside small whales and dolphins, as well as nibble on marine products.

Mr Wada said far from having caved in to pressure from conservationists who want an end to dolphin and whale hunting, the project was aimed at sustaining the practice.

"But we plan to do it on a larger scale. This is part of Taiji's long-term plan of making the whole town a park, where you can enjoy watching marine mammals while tasting various marine products, including whale and dolphin meat," he said.

"We already use dolphins and small whales as a source of tourism in the cove where dolphin-hunting takes place."
