Stop the shut down of the Campbell River SPCA

    1. Petition by

      Mark and Sharon's enterprises

The Campbell River SPCA provides shelter and care to abandoned and stray animals. The new pound will have a mandate to kill unwanted animals after 72 hours in this shelter. Please sign this petition to show the Campbell River City Hall that this new shelter is intolerable.
You can also send e-mails to Mayor Walter Jakeway at mayor.jakeway@campbellriver.ca

All beings love and cherish life, just like us. Please watch shows "Animal World" on www.suprememastertv.com to understand the noble and loving nature of animals.

The city has set up an unconscionable facility with this pound. I am disgusted with the decision to do this, especially after such service as the SPCA has been providing for so long and then spending a fortune on a ridiculously expensive and ineffective cover over the stage at the spirit square. I know very few people without pets, are they not paying taxes too?

We are losing a caring, time-proven effective facility which is much needed.

We and the pets need the SPCA - plain and simple.

I grew up in Campbell River and the SPCA branch was a big part in my life. I had multiple friends who volinteered there, my family adopted a couple animals from there and we often would go to visit the animals.

Campbell River needs to step up and remind its residents past, present and future that it is a City to be proud of and a City that cares for all of its residents human and animal alike!
