Barack Obama: Stop the Keystone XL Pipeline

      Lincoln, NE

In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, we must call on President Obama to confront the urgent threat of global warming by stopping climate-wrecking projects like the proposed Keystone XL tar sands pipeline and slashing dangerous carbon pollution from power plants. Urge President Obama to stand up to the dirty fuel lobby by moving swiftly on these two fronts.

There is enough going wrong with the environment & to add more problems so that other countries and the most wealthy in the world can become more wealthy is no reason to have this pipeline. he oil is going to other countries & the damage to our country will be irreparable.

This project will pollute our land and water; it is against our interests.

This pipeline is deadly to the planet, the environment and the people living in the area close to it. The ONLY ones who benefit are a few millionaires and billionaires. Stop this pipeline as you promised the American People you would a long time ago. Live up to your word!

A pipeline full of hazardous chemicals can never be fail proof. A leak into the Oglala Acquifer could destroy the economy of Nebraska and surrounding states. Where will the lost food production come from? You can't eat tar sands.
