Ask Your Representative to Take a Stand Against Slavery

    1. Sponsored by

      Safe Horizon

Several members of Congress have submitted a resolution calling for recognition of the International Day to Abolish Slavery and for the international community to devote more resources to detect, disrupt and dismantle modern-day slavery and human trafficking operations. And they need your support.

Although it has been 60 years since the UN first commemorated the International Day to Abolish Slavery, human trafficking and slavery remains one of the largest criminal enterprises in the world.  Today more than 12.3 million people are subjected to forced labor and sexual servitude and more than 600,000 people are trafficked across international borders each year.

Safe Horizon believes we must do more. Tell your Representative that you want to see them support this resolution and take a stand against slavery and human trafficking today.
