My brother-in-law Emmanuel Donkor received a visit 2 days ago from DHS and now has less then 2 weeks before he must turn himself into the Department of Homeland Security/ICE. He will be leaving his children and wife alone in the world. After turning himself in on May 15th they will proceed to find a way to send him back to Liberia due to two drug convictions he received over 7 years ago. After Judulang v. Holder No.-10-694 The DHS can deport someone if they have more then two convictions regardless of how long ago they occurred. Now even though these convictions are years ago. They are willing to send a 32 year-old father of five away for something he did when he was younger. Emmanuel had settled and paid his debt to society after the convictions with probation and fines; he has never done jail time for the minor drug charges (possession and intent to distribute). His children including my niece need their father, he is a wonderful dad and hard working car dealer. If you have a child or just a heart and can't imagine a little girl not being able to hug, kiss or dance with her father please sign my petition. My heart is breaking while I watch my sister fight to keep her family together.

As a unit I would love for people to really spread the word and help me make this situation more aware. They are sending people away from their families for things no bigger then motor vehicle violations. The U.S has much bigger problems then this and frankly I for one would like someone to think about the children.

Everyone please sign the petition. NO child should ever have to grow up without a father..A father is equally important in a child's life as their mother. Change starts with each one of us. " If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything"

This man is a devoted father and provider for his family. A child should never have to experience a broken household if it can be prevented.

He paid his debt to society. Don't break up the family..a family without a father is like a body without the head! Did I mention he PAID HIS DEBT TO SOCIETY?
