Zimbabwe Republic Police has been using spikes to stop vehicles and this has resulted in loss of innocent lives.

So far more than 20 people have died as a result of pirate taxis veering off the road trying to dodge the spikes thrown by police details. 

The police must take use all available methods of tracking vehicles as provided for by the law and stop throwing spikes under vehicles.
