Legalise Same-Sex Marriage in China

There are millions of LGBT+ people in China being restricted the freedom to marry their spouse of choice. Currently, the Chinese government follows the “three no's” when it comes to LGBT+ issues (no approval, no disapproval, and no promotion) and in an International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission 2010 report it stated that "the Chinese government has remained largely silent on the issue of homosexuality." The current Marriage Law in China is ambiguous on the topic of same-sex marriage as it doesn't comment whether it is legal or not, or even mention it at all.
This needs to change. By defining marriage as a union between two consenting partners rather than just a union between a man and woman, this will mean LGBT+ people will get the right to marriage that all human beings are entitled to.
Sign this petition to spark greater acceptance and freedom for LGBT+ Chinese people.
