ESO: Petition To Unban Members Of The Majeeka PVE Guild

This petition had 171 supporters

On April 24th, 12 members of the Majeeka guild were permanently banned for allegedly "participating in a KKK rally in-game."

After a trial run, the group decided to hang out around Belkarth. They all wore their Dark Brotherhood Robe, which by the way is accessible in-game by completing the Dark Brotherhood quest line. Their robes happened to be dyed white. Although the group members were indeed wearing white, they did not, and do not affiliate themselves with the KKK.

Apart from being guilty of wearing white, the members did not do anything that would be considered racist, or hateful towards other ethnicities. We understand that what the group did may look shady however, as mentioned previously they did not do anything apart from wearing white that would classify them as having a "KKK rally." There was some hate speech being posted in area chat, but it's worth noting that none of it came from any of the Majeeka members. It was posted by bystanders/trolls in the area.

The members all agree that what they did looked shady, and would like to extend their sincerest apologies to anyone that was offended by the incident, and felt unsafe. It was not their intention to do so. They do not condone racism.

The majority of the people that were banned due to the incident continuously give back to the ESO community, they help answer newbie's questions about end-game content, and some even create tutorial videos explaining content/builds, others even go out of their way to explain things on third party sites such as Facebook to the ESO community. They are far from being bad people. In fact, most would consider them friendly and approachable.

I'm reaching out to you guys in hopes that this clears up the situation, and hopefully you agree that they did not deserve to be permanently banned.

If the ban is lifted, they promise to be much more respectful towards others, and think things through before doing something that may unintentionally offend the community.

Below are the names of the 12 members that were banned. We realize that there may have been some people that were banned for simply being at the wrong place, at the wrong time. If you are one of the individuals that was banned for simply being a bystander, please let us know and we will add you to the list.
