With covid shutdowns, the local community is craving and missing more of our favorite and classic nights out at Zelda's in Capi Vil more than ever. Unfortunately, even with the restrictions lifted, Zelda's leadership does not plan on bringing back live music on Friday and Saturday nights due to concerns about profitability. 

After discussing with local Zelda's goers, we have come up with a few potential compromises to present to Jill and Zelda's management team that could ease concerns and give us back our favorites with a lovely view of the Capitola Wharf in the background. 

1. We would be willing to pay a $10 cover charge vs a $5 cover charge, boom, double profits. 

2. Bouncers could have a handheld with the ability to charge credit/ debit cards so guests and passersby without cash on hand could still enjoy a night out at Zelda's. 

3. The number of nights with music could be limited, ie instead of every Friday and Saturday, late-night music could be on the 3rd Friday and 1st Saturday of the month, therefore increasing the crowd who would attend as it would be more of a special event. These nights could be reserved for the bands that bring the largest turnouts and are local favorites. (Spicy Boys or Nomalakadoja on Friday 7/16?)
