Stop selling sexist t-shirts!
"Cool story, babe. Now go make me a sandwich."
Sounds like a pretty thoughtless, sexist joke. And maybe it's harmless? But I don't think so. I don't think sexism like that should have any traffic in a world where women still earn 80 cents for every dollar a man earns. Where women's bodies are objectified and politicized, and they're made to feel ashamed for being who they are: women.
I don't think this joke is just stupid (though it is certainly that), I think it's dangerous. What sort of message are we sending girls? "Look, this is funny!" It's not. Just replace the sexist edge of this joke with a racist, or homophobic, or anti-Semitic one. Doesn't seem so harmless anymore, does it?
I say we boycott any shops that sell sexist crap like this (list of URLs at the bottom).
Sign this petition, and let's put some pressure on these sites to REMOVE t-shirts like this! We can start with Zazzle.com!

Cool t-shirt, Zazzle.com. Just joshin' - I'm being facetious. Whoa! Did I - a WOMAN - just use a big word? I don't think I found it in my boobs. I think I found it somewhere in my brain. Maybe you should use some brains and stop filling the Internet with sexist crap that I'm not interested in buying.
