My grandson has adhd, odd, and bipolar and, because he does not know how to control his down days with the bipolar his principal has suspended him fro school twice and is now threatening to remove him altogether. He is 11.Our teachers and principals are not educated enough on how to deal with children with mental disabilities such as adhd, bipolar and the such. These children are labled as bad children when, mostly they are misunderstood. They usually are bullied already for being different and when they retaliate they get in trouble. I think school officials need to be taught how to deal with children with these disabilities instead of threatening to kick them out of school. Our children deserve an education whether that have mental disabilities or not.
