Slowing Traffic on Prospect in School Zone

I was talking to my depot town neighbor, who happens be blind. He shared with me that last week he was hit by a car while crossing Prospect at the cross walk near Maple St. on his way to Prospect Park. Luckily he was only bruised but is now scared to cross Prospect over to the park. He was hit in a school zone! This park serves as a playground for the elementary school. We need to make this safer. Cross walk signs should be added. We need speed reducing measures as well such as bumps, humps, or rumble strips. (The road has already been deemed too narrow for bike lanes.) Please sign this to encourage our city council to take action on this much needed safety issue.
