In the DID/OSDD and other mental disorder community their are 1000s of people with their disorders being told they don't have it but random people on the internet. Most prominent on Tiktok and YouTube. People are making "Fake Disorder Cringe" videos and getting thousands of views not caring about the impact they have on the people.

Yes, there are fakers in the community but by assuming someone you see is faking just by their content or things they discuss is causing more harm than good. In the DID/OSDD1 system community for example. People including systems themselves have been fake claiming people with the disorders undiagnosed. Its harmful and causes them more trauma which isn't fair seeing as they have already dealt with so much trauma.

If we can get platforms like Tiktok and YouTube to take down videos like this for reasoning such as "harassment and bullying" we would have a safer community for those with all different kinds of disorders. Remember. Impact > Intentions. We need a safer community without the need to constantly report videos and content just to have ourselves understood.
