Get YouTube to sort out their demonetisation system

On the 31st of December 2017, YouTuber Logan Paul uploaded a video in which he showed the dead body of a man who had committed suicide hours earlier. The body was censored, but the situation was handled very poorly with little respect for the man's family and the young demographic of people who watch him.
A day later, nothing has been done by YouTube to remove the video. For the most popular video sharing site in the world, this is more than disappointing: it's unacceptable.
YouTube has a history of demonetising videos with LGBT content designed to help young people in the world who might be struggling with some part of their identity. If YouTube deems it fit to demonetise content like this and gloss over incredibly harmful content which features using suicide for views, there's a problem.
I've made this petition to let YouTube know that this is a problem that needs to be solved quickly. They have a responsibility to everybody who uses their website to make sure the harmful content isn't being promoted and the not harmful content isn't unfairly demonetised.
