I think this is the worst feature of  Youtube. Why?

I am from India and from previous year there have been many controversies like the controversy of Sushant Singh Rajput , Godi media , nepotism ,Farmers protest and many others . I don't want to support anything here but I have seen many news channels disabling the likes and dislikes from YouTube so that they can mislead us . I just want this feature to be removed from YouTube . I think the number of likes and dislikes on a video shows the public reaction and it is the public's voice so it must be taken care that no one can oppress our voice . 

YouTube today is not just any entertainment source but it is much bigger than that . There are just so many news platforms in it , so many tutorials and just so many things that are not dependent on entertainment but they are something that can change the world . If this feature gets removed than identifying vulgar and fake content would be much easier because it is the people who would decide . 

More dislikes and less likes would ultimately mean that people have raised their voice against 'something' .
