Why this petition matters

Started by Meredith McLarty

I've been an avid YouTube Creator since 2013. I began creating videos to vent about losing my parental rights and being in an abusive marriage for five years to my now ex-husband. My public content on my channel includes karaoke, crochet tutorials, parody videos, tarot readings and so much more. My audience is small, but dedicated.

Back in 2016, I uploaded porn privately to my YouTube channel because I didn't have enough room on my then cheap phone. I honestly, didn't think there was a problem with it because I couldn't afford to upgrade my OneDrive to upload it there. Once, I was able to afford to upgrade OneDrive, I completely forgot about the porn I uploaded privately on my YouTube channel until a couple of days ago when my account was terminated for it.

I have contacted YouTube numerous times stating that I will gladly take down the content once my account it reinstated. I don't have any strikes against me.

Ironically, YouTube didn't have an issue with the private videos in question until a few days after I had come out on my YouTube as being against the Covid-19 jab. Like I said, I uploaded these videos back in 2016. Why didn't YouTube say something about the videos then? I believe they were waiting for me to say something against their narrative because they already know I have been subscribed to creators like Mark Dice and Steven Crowder for many years. I think YouTube wanted an excuse to terminate my channel and used the porn as an excuse.

Since yesterday morning, I have been encouraging my friends on and off Facebook to go to the YouTube help center to appeal their decision to terminate my channel. I have also shared it with my WordPress subscribers. Here is the link to the WordPress blog so you can all help me reinstate my YouTube channel by appealing YouTube's decisions just like I have.
