Pets are being purchased from breeders instead of being adopted from shelters. Instead of going to a community animal shelter some people look for breeders or puppy mills and spend much of their money on a pet that can be saved from an animal shelter instead. Many dogs and cats are sitting in shelters, feeling unwanted, waiting for a parent of their own, while customers are aiming for more idealistic pure bread animals.

  Tons of animals are taken in, giving many shelters the need to get rid of large amounts of them because of the lack of adoption. People aren’t adopting them because they prefer to go to breeders or even pet stores which support puppy mills. Puppy mills just continue to push the female animals into having babies in extremely low conditions. The animals turn to be more brutal because of much phycological issues caused by the humans in charge. Not only are they affected in that manor, but their health is extremely affected as well. After they become weak, they are put to the side with the intense hope for affection and love, then they are abandoned or killed.

 Buying animals from pet stores or any breeder, supports this idea of puppy mills. So help your community by going to the shelter instead.
