Stop immoral petitions at WWMS
Why this petition matters
An epidemic has befallen this academical institution: the increasing use of petitions as a tool to obtain privileges that other schoolmates and classmates aren't given. I was in my math class when my teacher discovered a petition that requested all honors students to receive higher scores than what they earned. Their petition, now removed from Change.org, stated that the students needed a grade curve due to "different versions of the test for different classes." While it is understandable that some assessments might be harder than others, it is unacceptable for students to protest their way out of "bad grades."
I feel that petitions are great tools to achieve positive change in the world - I am sure Change.org has brought several significant changes to our current world. However, the current state of school petitions has been an example of deteriorating moral standards of our fellow classmates. Reasonable petitions are perfectly fine - even welcome, as I believe my fellow schoolmates can achieve great things for the universal community.
