Make Sure Priestlands School is Sending Pigs to Slaughter!

Priestlands School in Lymington currently have 4 female Tamworth & Gloucester Old Spot pigs that are 5 - 6 months old. These pigs came to the school as part of a programme to encourage children to learn about animals and for the children to help with ‘fattening up the pigs for slaughter’.
In 2018 we should be teaching children that animals are food. The school has made students and parents uncomfortable, by making it unclear whether or not these pigs will fulfil their lifelong ambition of becoming food. One concerned non-vegan parent has begged the school over the past few months to send the pigs to a slaughterhouse as opposed to a sanctuary. The school has decided to send the pigs back to the farmer, who will then take them to C&S Meats Ltd where they will be slaughtered. Many fear that the school will disregard the majority and decide that the pigs cannot die.
Priestlands School has the chance to do the right thing. Please sign the petition and ask them to save the pigs and send them to C&S Meats Ltd, an animal slaughterhouse who has agreed to take them, so they can live out the rest of their lives as a menu item.
