Today, law enforcement officials visited the home to where Alusia (the wolfdog) resides for a possible "harassment offense" as it seems Jessica Chaillaux and Susan Jean Campbell did not like the petition or the timeline that is out. Law enforcement will not pursue any harassment as there is no such charge from any individual or party who has brought to light the wrong doings conducted by these 2 parties.
Therefore, we will continue to move forward and share the information with the people. Attached you will find the CURRENT laws as they are written for animals in the state of ARIZONA and their OWN rights. Please read them as they are written with many loop holes, which is why many abusers have lessened sentences and will repeat the same offense.
"Arizona http://www.azleg.state.az.us/ars/13/02910.htm Arizona Statute 13-2910 et. seq. Animal cruelty is defined as: “Intentionally, knowingly or recklessly subjects any animal to cruel neglect or abandonment, failing to provide necessary medical attention to prevent protracted suffering, causes unnecessary physical injury, kills any animal without the legal privilege or consent of the owner, leaves an animal unattended and confined in a motor vehicle and injury or death is a likely result.” There are also special provisions for harming service animals, including allowing or having another animal harm or interfere with a service animal. Intentional, knowingly or recklessly subjecting an animal to cruel treatment is a Class A Misdemeanor, punishable by a fine up to $2,500 and/or imprisonment for 6 months. Intentionally subjecting an animal to cruel neglect, mistreatment, or killing or harming a service animal is a Class 6 Felony punishable by a fine of up to $150,000 and/or imprisonment of up to 1.5 years. Sentences can also include community service, no animal ownership for 3 years, and restitution. Exceptions are made for hunting, poisoning rodents or dogs killing or wounding livestock."
Attached you will also find a link to a known backyard breeder who is currently under investigation. Not only WITH the city but within the city, by the people of Yuma, Az. This link will explain, some (not all) of the animals related to some of the abuse and neglect that has happened at the hands from this person. Due to the nature and sensitivity of this petition, we are asking the people to sign in recognition and agreeance that once found guilty, Jessica Chaillaux will not and SHOULD NOT be allowed to own pets within the city, county limits of Yuma, within the state line of Arizona or any of the additional remaining states. We ask for a national registry be started with her name. Going nationwide so she may NEVER own any animals again.
She has managed to stay below the radar due how these laws are written, reflecting animals as PROPERTY AND not as family. Even though several reports have been taken and cases to law enforcement officials and animal control, the laws simply are not strong enough to support these animals she has abused and used. Her current service animal is pregnant by her papered Afghan who has a DO NOT BREED clause in his contract, which due to her negligence this Shepherd is now pregnant. This same "service dog" also has 2 dog attacks on file and has been used several times as a threat as a weapon, which according to the American Disability Act, a service animal is to "provide minimal protection or rescue work,". Enclosed is the link for a service animal and using it as a weapon is PROHIBITED.
We ask you to sign this petition to challenge to judicial system in hopes to change the system and help them realize that it is people like this girl who need to be charged with a Felony to make the charges with harsher penalties. Without a harsher penalty there will be no justice for those who have no voice and this will continue for those like Dazzle who was "accidentally" bred while having funds raised at her expense and need to have services conducted to be spayed (as she was a rescue and older dog). Only later to be bred and then disposed of shortly after having her puppies and passing a gruesome death due to a placenta infection from no vet care either before , during, or after delivery.
This post and petition was removed once due to "harassment and bullying" so we ask you again to resign and pass it along and spread the word ..
