Joe SevenNumbers started this petition to YKZA FanScans / TCB Scans

With this new merger between YKZA and TCB, the quality of the scans along with its date of release has improved by alot. BUT with this new merger, we can observe over the last few weeks a general deterioration in general quality of the quality of the translations.

This is because Bean, the former translator, translated from Korean scans, where TCB translators use Japanese scans that both come out earlier and are higher quality. Theoretically, this should mean that the translations suddenly make alot more sense with little opportunity for words and phrases to get lost in translation with this game of 'Telephone', but the actual observable effect is that there seems to be more than a few acceptable grammatical or spelling errors along with the fact that the translations have become alot more dull.

We've been spoiled by Bean because he brought a lot of life to translation-work, giving personality traits to characters who otherwise would have been in the complete background. The new translations would be completely acceptable if it was from anywhere else, but the fact that Bean was taken away from the process makes it alot harder to read (especially given that his spin on translations is alot of the reason why people stuck around this long with the current sluggish  pace of the MHA plot).

We want to honor the merger between TCB and YKZA, but we also want Bean back at the helm of translating; or at least in some way advising ways to make the dialogue more interesting with each and every character. We wonder if it's really that hard to have the best of both worlds, not only for the discord community but the silent majority of the reading fanbase at large who tune in to enjoy Bean's translation work.
