Although the last thing the Jewish world needs is more negative news, that's what YWN seems to thrive on. Many of their news stories are inaccurate or blown out of proportion to prove a point, which leads to misunderstandings. Being probably the biggest news network for orthodox Jews they have a tremendous amount of influence, which they don't seem to be taking seriously at all. They often make it seem like we are under constant threat of antisemitic attacks even though we are living very freely, and actual antisemitism is BH very rare. They tend to paint all non-Jews as antisemites, and all secular/reform Jews as heretics. This sort of rhetoric just spreads more divisiveness and fear which is damaging, destructive, and unnecessary. Please help us get them to change.
