A. Thornton started this petition to YES Network and

Eric Holtz; A man with a who at 39 had a SLAP tear and ripped off his bicep’s tendon. His thought process became "Never pitch again? Yeah right." He went to Montefiore Orthopedics and begged Dr. Levi to get him back on the diamond.  through rigorous training and the growing of a soul patch on an otherwise shaved head, he was drafted to play pro ball at 41.

While Eric's story is no doubt one with a happy ending, and NO one is wishing Eric ill will, the YES Network overplays this commercial to the point of nauseousness to its viewers.

We, the signers of this petition are begging the powers that be, The Yes Network and the station's owners; The New York Yankees, Amazon, and The Sinclair Broadcast group to either reduce the playing of this commercial or eliminate from YES's airwaves entirely. It is simply unthinkable that Montefiore has bought so much air time on the YES Network; the largest regional sports network in the United States that this commercial runs at least once between every inning. Does someone's wife work at Montefiore? Is Eric Holtz's brother part of the advertising department at YES? We don't know or care, but these are questions that come up when a commercial is displayed with such frequency.

PS. No one has clicked on "Eric's Story" on the YES Network website. I would bet my dog on it.
