Yeovil's music community is once again becoming noticed and people are putting in a lot of hard work to regenerate it's past strong scene.

I have been putting on alternative gig nights for the last couple of years and one of the things I have found hard is advertising these shows other than on social media. People still say that they had no idea that events were taking place and it got me wondering how can this be helped? Posters can be put up in various places in town but they can be taken down or they aren't in places people take notice. 

I think there needs to be a dedicated poster drum, board or wall that allows people to put their gig and event posters to advertise. It needs to be in a high traffic, high footfall area that everyone knows and will look there each time they're in Yeovil. It would be great to have two, one up the top of town and one at the bottom.

By doing this it should generate more interests for the music scene in our town, please help support this by signing the petition to try and get things moving!!! Cheers.
