I'm starting this petition to get justice for Daniel Enrique Cruz Baret. With his loss came a lot of grief among family and the community. On December 15,2021 he was found in the trunk of his car, murdered. He did not deserve what happened to him. He was a person full of compassion and sympathy. Always felt the need to help anyone he can. Although the Department of homicide has done a great job identifying the ones who committed this tragedy. More still needs to be done to be able to keep them behind bars. With the help of Berenice Yeni Reynoso our community feels like we might have a chance at justice. She is a Dominican Republic lawyer, former public prosecutor and CURRENT Fiscal Procurator of the National District of the Dominican Republic since 2012. Hopefully she's willing to pick up this case and see how much we need her to get these men who feel like they are above the law. Those men tortured a man out of hate! Not knowing the love of our family and the communities from the Dominican Republic to New York is bigger than them. So please let's help his kids and family find peace in a place where we all call HOME.
