After fires, covid and lockdowns we’ve had no excursions, no celebrations, no camps for the whole of high school, students at Tumbi Umbi Campus have been told they’re not allowed a formal either and if they do have one it’ll be student organised. But as a student at Tumbi many of us believe we should be allowed a formal especially one planned in conjunction with the school so not only can everybody be invited, but to enjoy our formal with teachers and see our year 7-10 transformations. The excuse that we’re only in year 10 so we don’t need a formal and it will encourage people not to go on to year 11 and 12 as stated by our school principal is ridiculous and with your signage we can help prove her wrong and hopefully get a year 10 formal!
