I have created this petition in hopes to get Yancey County schools closed until Covid is under control.
Covid is skyrocketing in Yancey County. With these new strains of mutated Covid we have seen a tremendous rise Covid cases in children. Remember children are not eligible for a Covid vaccine due to age and health problems.
We have seen The Yancey County Board of Education make this a political issue. We need to take politics out of school. Stand up for your child(ren) and the rest of the community.
