School Children should not be allowed to carry phones to school, it only creates problems in which the kids get caught using the phones when they're not allowed to use them. Then the phone is sometimes taken from them and held until the end of the day, yet not all students get caught, so this isn't a fair reprimand. Why should some students get punishments when others get away with it? The students also take videos when a fight breaks out among students and the videos end up on social media. Our son was taking a video of a boy that started a fight with his twin brother and our son was told to delete it, but yet other kids around were taking a video of the fight,, which in turn gets passed around and then can end up on social media This is a problem that hasn't been able to control. If a student needs to use a phone, they can use the office phone in the school office. If phones were allowed in schools, teachers should collect them at the beginning of class and return them when class is over. This would take care of any issues.
