For a number of years now the Event Booking system has been very much flawed in respect that there doesn’t actually seem to be a system as such.

Spreadsheets are created by Teams/Event Organisers which can take some time depending on the complexity of the event and even more so if the event is part of a series or league. Once the event has been created or written by the organiser it is then submitted to events@zwift.com to be scheduled in to the calendar.

Unfortunately, you do not get an instant answer to your event request and on occasions the reply can be up to 2-3 working days later. We are still in the dark as to how the actual process works and how some organisers and teams get priority over time slots. We understand that Zwift organised events will get priority and accept that but do not understand how other teams get given that priority. As a Team manager I have a good success in organising events but had my share of events being refused or cancelled

The time has come for Zwift to invest if a fair and proper system for booking events or races such as a Google type form with all the information required to book an event.. Zwift are in the process of BETA testing certain event types and team functionality but no clear direction on event organising of events which impacts many organisers on a daily basis.
