Value Nature as a living being, say yes to Rights Of Nature

Today, Nature is treated as property under current law. Nature has no standing and therefore, cannot be represented directly in a court of law. Our call is for humans and corporations to value Nature as a living being, in all its life forms, with the right to exist, persist, maintain and regenerate its vital cycles rather than being seen as property ─ a resource to be consumed.
We are all part of Mother Earth, an indivisible, living community of interrelated forms. It is clearly evident that all forms of exploitation, abuse and contamination have caused great destruction to Mother Earth.
Be the voice now for Rights of Nature. We are collecting One Million signatures to present to the United Nations.
Call forth a worldwide acceptance and implementation of the Universal Declaration of The Rights of Mother Earth. Express that you would like all Nations to adopt Rights Of Nature by signing this petition.

The United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, Rio+20, was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 20-23 June 2012 to mark the 20th anniversary of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development. A small delegation of The Rights of Mother Earth campaign delivered almost 120,000 signatures and letters written by people from around the world, addressed to Heads of Nations and the UN General Assembly to Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Brazilian President Dilma Rouseff. We are continuing this campaign until we reach 1,000,000 signatures. For more information visit (http://www.rightsofmotherearth.com/).
