Compensate Victimised CoLC Trade Union Officers

Compensate Victimised CoLC Trade Union Officers
Standing as a trade union officer in the City of Liverpool College (Further Education, previously known as Liverpool Community College); is increasing an act of career suicide.
For instance, two University and College Union (UCU) Liaison Committee Chairs - Ste Burns and Gary Duke - both were subject to spurious complaints; both were active representatives who challenged managerial decisions that were detrimental to UCU members; both were sacked by the leadership of CoLC - thus depriving the community of Liverpool of two exemplary, talented, committed FE professional teachers.
The attacks on CoLC trade unionists, and the broader bullying of staff, continues. Enough is enough.
We call for an end to trade union victimisation and the bullying of staff in CoLC; and for compensation for all victimised trade union officers under the current CoLC leadership.
