The area of Line Wall rd at Montagu Bastion where the Youth Centre is located is also home to various clubs like the 3rd Europa Scouts Troop.There many children go every day and the nearest Pelican Crossing is by the  American War Memorial steps is not covered by a Pavement so pedestrians can not reach the Youth Centre area from there.There is a Zebra crossing coming north from Linewall road but too far from the Youth Centre to be  commonly used by pedestrians walking to the area,it is also quite a dark area were bikes and cars do tend to speed by making a Pelican crossing a safer option than a Zebra crossing.

I would ask authorities to either make a Pelican Crossing nearer to the Youth Centre area or make the current pelican crossing by American War Memorial steps viable for these children going to the Montagu Bastion area/Youth Centre by making a pavement to the area.Everyday i see children crossing nearest to the Youth Centre were this new Pelican crossing could be and its a very dangerous area to cross and its just an accident waiting to happen.
