Production - Cheap clothing comes at an environmental cost!! Wastewater from factories release toxic chemicals into waterways - of which do not ever break down. Synthetic materials (plastic fibres) in clothing have doubled since early 2000s. These fibres contribute to micro-plastics in water sources and increase oil demand. 

Disposal - Approximately £140 million worth of clothing enters landfill every year in the UK alone, of which can take at least 40 years to decompose. Especially synthetic materials which contain plastics. There are many alternatives! Including: recycling, donations and up-cycling.
