Please join us in expressing your support to videotape WWP’s School Board Meetings. Given that almost 60% of our tax dollars are managed by the school board, transparency is certainly called for. Having board meetings broadcast on TV or uploaded to the district website for viewing would allow parents and community members to stay informed and be involved in their children’s education. Several school districts, such as  Princeton. South Brunswick etc.  have their BOE meetings recorded and broadcasted on TV. Recording the meetings will give us the transparency that the district needs.

Both working and stay-at-home parents find it difficult to attend bi-weekly meetings. In addition, other important school meetings are often scheduled at the same time as the board meetings, forcing parents to choose which to attend.

The technology is available, the cost is low….let’s get it done!
