I want to save this unique animal from extinction. I have told everyone I know to adopt an animal from WWF from only £3 per month and a lot of people have done so which is great. These majestic animals live in Asia's highest mountains and they are very shy and elusive animals. The colouring of their coats makes them difficult to see in the snowy environment they live in and are often referred to as 'ghosts of the mountains.'

Snow leopards are becoming extinct by loss of their habitat but mainly because of poachers who illegally kill snowlepords even though they are endangered.  They sell their thick, white, beautiful fur to make money. People use the fur of the animal to make coats and other clothing products. They also use the bones of the animal for traditional Asian medicine.

Please help this amazing animal from extinction. There are only 40,080 snow leopards left in the world and 220-450 get killed each year by poachers. Humans started this so we must fix this.
