The gharials are an intresting species of animals, the gharials are incapable of eating any human so it is not a man-eater. Unfortuntly they are currently getting extinct at an alarming rate. The gharials were almost extinct in the 70s with numbers like 50-60 so with proper steps  they increased in number. Us, humans are responsible for this cause because we are hunting them. We should also try to avoid plastic since in 2007 a lot of gharials died by eating plastic that were dumped in the ocean. Others are also trying to save them like in India, A gharial breeding centre was opened. I would like to end here and I hope you will sign this petition since if we get 10k signs then maybe we can save a gharial's life (Inspired by my classmate Ritisha, Congrats on getting many signs)
