Many places in WV do not have a landfill or reliable trash removal service. This creates the problem of illegal dumping sites as well as the unsightly litter strewn across our majestic hills.

If we could raise awareness of this issue we could have the powers that be to allocate funding for trash receptacles maintained by the state to be placed in various accessible locations in each county.

This would not only create a healthier environment that we can be proud of, but also it would also prevent tourists from being discouraged from visiting different areas due to the unappealing debris. 

Other states that provide trash removal have much less of a refuse issue, and West Virginia needs to take a stand.
